MHHF benefits when you “round up” at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s

When you buy outdoor gear at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s you’ve probably been asked if you would like to “round up for the outdoors.” Although it may only be pennies to round up to the nearest dollar, those pennies add up to big change.

The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund works with many organizations, including MHHF, to shape the future of the outdoors by protecting wildlife and habitat, advocating for sportsmen’s rights, and connecting new audiences with the outdoors.

Over the past several years, MHHF has benefited from The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund. Through their generosity and partnership, MHHF has the resources to introduce youth and their families to the outdoors through hunting and the shooting sports. Together we are creating the next generation of outdoor families and introducing them to the wonders of nature.

Each year, on average, more than 75 volunteers share more than 1,500 hours supporting MHHF’s mission to pass along Missouri’s hunting heritage in the best and safest way possible. Our Hunter Education Clinics are free of charge and conducted throughout the year during Missouri's hunting and trapping seasons. Classroom courses and clinic activities are tailored to match the seasons. Hunter education and trapper education classroom courses are each taught by volunteer instructor members of MHHF certified by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
