The Missouri Hunting Heritage Federation, Inc. (MHHF) is hosting a youth hunter education clinic and mentored chukar hunt. This event includes Missouri's Hunter Education Certification (Skills Portion and Exam), supervised shooting instruction, and a mentored chukar hunt. All necessary equipment will be provided.
The skills session portion will be conducted Saturday, October 19th, at 8:00am at Baer’s Den with the live-fire session following the class. The mentored hunt is Sunday morning, October 20th. Lunch will be provided on Sunday immediately following the hunt.
Parents or adult chaperones are required to attend all portions of the clinic with their youth participant and can also receive hunter education certification and shooting instruction.
MHHF hunter education clinics are best suited for families who wouldn't have the opportunity outside this experience to receive their first hunt. MHHF partners with other conservation organizations to make sure their participants' first hunt is not their last.
