Youth Dove Clinic, Garden City
Join us for a youth hunter education clinic and mentored dove hunt in Cass County, Missouri! On September 13-14, 2025, this MHHF clinic will include Hunter Education certification, live-fire shooting instruction, and a mentored dove hunt! Spacing is limited so register today.
Youth Dove Clinic, St. Charles - 1
MHHF is excited to partner with the Great Rivers Habitat Alliance to offer a two-day dove hunting experience designed to educate and empower the next generation of hunters. On Saturday, youth participants will complete their Missouri Hunter Education certification during an interactive clinic and receive supervised live-fire shooting instruction. Then Sunday morning they will head to the field for a mentored dove hunt with guidance from seasoned mentors. A camp meal will be provided after the hunt.
Parents are required to attend all portions of the clinic and can receive their hunter education certification alongside their child, as well as shooting instruction, and will be present for the entirety of the hunt.
This event is ideal for first-time hunters or those looking to gain confidence in a safe, supportive environment. All gear, instruction, and mentorship are provided free of charge.

Join us for the 15th Annual Shoot for the Future Sporting Clays Benefit Tournament! This 12-station event supports our mission to connect youth and families with the outdoors through hunting and shooting sports. Enjoy a fun-filled day with team shooting, a silent auction, raffle, lunch, and more.

Governor's Deer Hunt
MHHF is proud to partner with many statewide conservation organizations to present the Governor’s 3rd Annual Deer Hunt! This event is for new hunters ages 11+ who have never harvested a deer. Many location options are available across Missouri and MHHF is partnering on the Osage/Maries/Phelps Counties portion of the event. This event includes a social Friday night, an introduction to deer biology and hunting safety and tactics Saturday morning, followed by shooting range time Saturday afternoon and hunts with experienced mentors Saturday evening, and possibly Sunday morning.
