MHHF and wildHERness have partnered for the second annual Mom & Me Squirrel Clinic! At this event, mothers and their children will be able to experience the outdoors together. Saturday morning, we will learn about squirrel biology and safe hunting followed by firearms handling and shooting instruction. Saturday evening and Sunday morning we will head to the woods for a squirrel hunts with guidance from seasoned mentors. Camp meals will be provided and some may even feature our target species, squirrels!

We will focus on mother/child pairs (or any adult female relative/chaperone with a youth ages 11-19). Adults will be equal participants alongside their child and are therefore required to attend all portions of the clinic.

This event is ideal for first-time squirrel hunters who are looking to gain confidence in a female-led safe and supportive environment. All gear, instruction, and mentorship are provided free of charge.

To reserve your spot, we do require a refundable $20 deposit per family.

Space is limited for this clinic and it will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Once full, we will accept a waiting list.
