MHHF is offering a two-day deer hunting experience designed to educate and empower the next generation of hunters. On Saturday, youth participants will complete their Missouri Hunter Education certification during an interactive clinic and receive supervised live-fire shooting instruction. Then Sunday morning they will head to the woods for a mentored deer hunt with guidance from seasoned mentors. A camp meal will be provided after the hunt.
Parents are required to attend all portions of the clinic and can receive their hunter education certification alongside their child, as well as shooting instruction, and will be present for the entirety of the hunt.
This event is ideal for first-time hunters ages 11-19 who are looking to gain confidence in a safe, supportive environment. All gear, instruction, and mentorship are provided free of charge.
To reserve your child’s spot, we do require a refundable deposit.
